Not sure why the king would take the Bishop. Why not move to a different square? There is no impending mate there?
I am sure I am not getting some thing here....

If black moved the king to a different square white wins the knight on g6 (Bxg6). Note that there also is an unprotected rook! So black is in a bad situation no matter what he does.
