Chess Manager project rules
Chess Manager Draft
Every player who is not on a team (hereinafter - free agent, FA) and who completes the registration form will be invited to a club called CM Draft. On the appointed day and time, 2 intra-club Blitz and Bullet tournaments will take place. Based on their results, a rating of players will be formed. After that, I will choose 4 people who will be the managers of each of the four teams, of which they will automatically become players. Next, the players from the rating will be divided into groups of four* players. The manager who is the first to register in the project will have the right to be the first to select players for the team; the second - the second, etc. First, players from the first four will be distributed, then from the second, and so on. After that, the managers will have to agree with all the players about the salary (see Virtual Currency).
* By number of teams, more teams - more players in a group
Contracts
The usual duration of contracts is 1 season. During this period, the players will have the same salary and will be required to play for the same team. Since players may not take part in all tournaments, this should also be taken into account when signing a contract and salary agreement
Substitution contract
This option is only available to players who do not have a full season contract. If a player of a team warned in advance about his absence from a tournament/match, the team can declare a new player as a substitute. The salary of a substitute on average per season should not exceed the salary of the main player. After the return of the main player, the substitute is no longer considered part of the team and can again become a substitute in any team, provided that all players without a contract have played as substitutes.
Virtual currency
Virtual currency (hereinafter - VC) operates exclusively within the project and cannot be used in real life
Currency name - chesscoins (CC)
Each team will be given 10,000 CC for the season**, as well as prizes for winning tournaments and matches. VC can be used by teams to pay salaries, buy players in the transfer window (hereinafter - TW) and as a rating of managers
** For first season, exception for private teams (see Creation of a team)
Players can use VC to redeem a contract (detailed in the TW section), create their own team (detailed in the Creation of a team section), receive bonus points (see Suggested innovations) and as one of the player ratings
Creation of a team
There are 5 ways to create a team
1. Recruitment of FA, the manager is appointed by the project administrator
2. Pre-assembled full line-up
3. Pre-assembled incomplete squad (5-9 people), the selection of players comes from among the FA.
4. Private team
5. Merge between 2 teams
Private team
It is created by one of the players, with full provision of the team's starting budget (minimum 10,000 CC) and with the payment of compensation to the previous team in the amount of the sum of his Blitz and Bullet ratings. The selection of players comes from among the FA.
Changes in the composition of the teams occurs only during TW
Transfer Window
Stage 1
Managers must choose players who will definitely remain on the team (in the case of a private team, this obligation does not work for the player creating the team). The rest of the players go to the status of "put up for transfer"
Stage 2
Managers set transfer targets for their teams
Stage 3
Players put up for transfer choose teams to which they definitely do not agree to transfer
Stage 4
Managers negotiate with the teams of put players in the auction format. This determines the priority teams for the players
Stage 5
Players in turn (first - higher rated) negotiate with priority teams on salaries. In the event of a breakdown in negotiations, priority passes to the other team. A team that agrees with 10 players loses the right to participate in negotiations. Players who do not agree with new teams remain in their current teams
Stage 6
Teams with more than 10 players must terminate the contract with such a number of players that their number does not exceed 10. You cannot terminate a contract signed in the current TO
Stage 7
Teams with incomplete squads are added. Managers are offered to merge teams (including incomplete existing teams). If, after the merger, the number of players is more than 10, the procedure of stage 6 is repeated. Also, after the merger, players can re-sign or terminate the contract.
Added private teams
The number of free places in the teams is determined (10 - the number of players in the team) and the number of FA. The number of new teams formed by the 1st way (see Creation of a team) is determined by the formula [(number of FA - number of free places) // 10]***
*** '//' means division without remainder
Stage 8
See Chess Manager Draft
Teams with full rosters are added
TW completed
Season
The first season starts after the draft, the next - after the completion of TW. TW starts after the end of the season. The season consists of Teams Arenas involving all teams and matches between 2 teams. The specific season schedule depends on the number of teams
The FA "team" also participates in the season, which also includes players who registered during the season.
