With a total of nine rounds, this tournament is sure to test not only your chess skills but also your mental stamina! This past weekend, November  25th - 27th, Washington Chess Federation hosted the 2022 WA Class Championship at the Redmond Marriott. Over 150 chess players participated throughout North America including parts of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah and British Columbia (CAN).  The tournament was directed by Senior TD Fred Kleist. From October 22-23, the Washington Chess Federation partnered with Susan Polgar Foundation to organize the 2022 Susan Polgar Foundation National Open for Girls & Boys at the Marriott Hotel in Bellevue, WA.
