Parthenope's Fan Club

Welcome to the Fan Club of the three-time Italian Women's Chess Champion Maria De Rosa!

Maria fell in love with chess at the age of 6, became Woman FIDE Master (WFM) in 2004, and played with the Italian National Team in 4 Olympics (Calvià 2004, Dresden 2008, Khanty Mansiysk 2010, Istanbul 2012). Currently she has a WIM norm.

Maria is also a FIDE Instructor (FI) and has been teaching chess for 14 years, receiving the award for Best Instructor of Southern Italy, thanks to the victories of her students at the Italian Student Championships.
