Hello, chess enthusiasts! With over 20 years of experience as a dedicated public school elementary teacher, I have successfully managed numerous after-school chess clubs, primarily focusing on students in kindergarten through third grade. Now, I am excited to bring my passion for teaching chess online, offering personalized one-on-one sessions as well as engaging parent-and-child lessons.

As a player, I have achieved a peak rating of 1880 (FIDE). Ultimately, my mission is to work myself out of a job. When my students achieve a strength of 1700 (FIDE over-the-board) ELO rating, I consider my job well done. At that point, they will be ready to advance to the expertise of an expert or master, ready to take on the world of chess with confidence.
