Started playing chess at a fairly young age. Then stopped and played sports instead...especially rugby union and tennis. Have never played a lot of chess competitively. I guess I have to start at the bottom here and hopefully work up. I have a lot to learn, but I am keen to play anyone.

I used to live in Bath/Bristol in the UK, but now live a completely different and maybe a more eco-friendly lifestyle on a beautiful Greek island in the Ionian sea.

I love good music (from Beethoven to the Bombay Bicycle Club) and all types of literature. Currently re- reading a lot of Hemingway. Really like Haruki Murakami....I write too......mostly articles and contribute to the island website, ithacagreece.com
