The new BY League season begins, it is an award-winning competition, for this year 2023. We want to welcome all the new members of the club, with an excellent league, with many membership awards 💎👑⭐. Everyone is welcome to this new competition. BY Setup It is mainly characterized by:
The king is on the light square for Red and Green, and on the dark square for Blue and Yellow.

Mission INDEX
Mainly in the administration we want to know the opinion and experience of each one of the players who participate in this League, we need a first source feedback from the main Four Player chess players or at least players who are more frequent and active on the platform.
Your Opinion Matters:
How do you feel about the new position of the king?
We want to know, do you think it is more balanced for all colors in the opening and middle game?
Do you think you can make a greater variety of openings?
That they finally tell us if BY Setup is a good option on the platform or not?
The goal for the BY League is to give players exposure to more dynamic starting positions in order to get proper feedback.
Parameters: Requirements, Restrictions and Solutions INDEX
All players interested in participating in the BY League must be aware of the following requirements and guidelines:
- Players must be part of the Discord server to maintain effective communication and stay informed about the competition.
- If a player does not show up for their scheduled match, they may be replaced by another qualified player.
- Late arrivals may result in a warning or expulsion from the League, and the player may be substituted.
- Failure to notify the organization of your arrival in Discord by saying "I'm ready to compete" may result in your replacement.
- All players must confirm their participation by saying "I'm ready to compete" so all games can start on time every Saturday.
- In the event of illness or personal issues preventing a player from continuing to participate, they will be substituted by another player.
- The brackets will remain Anonymous, as requested by the players, but subject to change in the future.
- The official schedule will be respected, but if a player selected within the top 32 is unable to attend, other players will be able to substitute.
- Any available player or organizer can substitute for a player.
- In the Playoffs, a player who has lost in 8th place may return as a substitute for a player who is unable to make their game or has withdrawn from the competition, and may even qualify and continue to compete in the quarterfinals, semifinals, and beyond.
- Any player, including those who have not previously played in the Arena, may participate as a substitute.
Disconnections
- On or before move #3, the game is canceled and played again.
- After move #3, the game continues. If a disconnect occurs and time runs out, it will unfortunately be considered a loss.
- If there is a disconnection due to server problems, everything will be at the discretion of the organizer or referee.

"Self-Management System"
This mainly consists of the following:
- BY League, The matches will be played every Saturday between 17:00 UTC and 20:00 UTC respectively.
- Players will be responsible for reviewing the schedule every week.
- They can propose a time change and see if the rest of the rivals agree.
- There is flexibility in the schedule, the important thing is that this game can be executed.
- 1 rematch will be played after each game.
- 1 Player will invite the other 3 players to an FFA Casual game, with a 5+5 Time Control, using the BY Setup.
- Game Co-Ordinations will happen in this discord channel.
- Upon completion, post the game links in their respective bracket, so that they register on the website.
The reason we are introducing this system is so that players aren't waiting for admins to send invites to their games.

The BY League will begin on Saturday, March 18 at 17 UTC. You are able to coordinate your games up to a week in advance throughout the Season. Starting Monday, March 13th you can coordinate with the other players in your game in the #ffa-by-league Discord channel, otherwise your game is scheduled for Saturday March 18th at 17 UTC.
Gameday Coordination:
Every Saturday starting at 17:00 UTC - 20:00 UTC players must announce their arrival ready to play their game. If you don't coordinate with the other players you will be considered absent from the game and will be given an automatic 4th. You must coordinate and or play your game by midnight Saturday night.

What happens when players do not show up for their weekly games?
It is important that players notify League coordinators ahead of time, and if you miss a game you will receive automatic 4th for that game. There will not be any games pending this Season, each game will have a final outcome based on who attended the games.
Players are free to co-ordinate and play their games at their convenience, even ahead of time. When games are completed, 1 player must post the results in the corresponding Discord channel.
When players miss their scheduled games, here's how the outcome of the game will be calculated:
Case #1: 1 player attends and 3 Absentees = 3 points, and 0 points to the rest.
Case #2: 2 players attend 2 Absentees = 2 points each and 0 points each.
Case #3: 3 players Attend and 1 Absentee = 2 points each and 0 points.
Note:
- When a players misses 3 games without notice, they will be replaced by other active players who wish to join the League.
- We cannot accumulate pending games, therefore players who do not show up for their commitment will automatically lose by WO (Walkover) and the points will be distributed to the players according to the case.
