I've played chess on and off since I was 9, my dad was in Viet Nam and his brother who had just returned taught me. I have a military oriented family, so naturally I was in love with chess immediately. I've never taken it too seriously but I am competitive, so of course I like to win, in chess you earn it, so that makes it even better. I'd like to find a few select mentors that can help me advance my skill level.
