The Contra Costa Chess Club emphasizes fun and over-the-board (OTB) social contact with the game of chess in a coffehouse setting as it welcomes players of all ages and skill levels, from all walks of life, from all nations and cultures, from masters to novices and every level in between! The Club meets every Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at Starbucks, located at 1536 Kirker Pass Rd, Clayton, California. The Contra Costa Chess Club is an official Affiliate Club of the U.S. Chess Federation.
