Welcome to the official Chess.com Club of SV Lok Dresden!
We are a traditional club from the heart of Dresden, currently breathing fresh life into our sails. Whether you are a complete beginner, a casual player, or a seasoned strategist – everyone is welcome to find a home with us.
🏠 Our Club Life (Over-the-Board)
We meet every Thursday at our club rooms in Dresden:
📍 Freiberger Straße 31 (1st Floor, Rooms 110 & 111)
Kids & Youth Training: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM (Learning through play & growing together)
Adults' Evening: From 6:00 PM (Free play, analysis & socializing)
What we offer:
Club Championship: Exciting classical games
Blitz Tournaments: Regular OTB series for the action lovers.
League Play: We are actively represented by a team in the Bezirksliga.
🌐 Our Digital Vision
We are currently undergoing a digital transformation and are looking to massively expand our online presence. This Chess.com Club is the heart of our digital community.
Our Goals:
Regular internal online Blitz and Rapid tournaments.
Participation in Chess.com Club Leagues and Matches.
A platform for analysis and exchange, even outside of club nights.
