PS: for those curious about yesterday's mate-in-10 problem, I posted the solution here:

1.Qh5+...Rg5 2.Qxg5#  This is the solution for "pcfilho's" mate in 2.

Am I missing something when I say that we could have also had a check-mate in two moves?

the last move could also be Qa7, or am I missing something?

Yes, 5 Qxa7+ Qa6 isn't mate! Surprised

Wow, no sacrifice at all! Nice one! Cool

Very sneaky puzzle! (The solution button is my new best friend) Smile

Why not move queen to b7 early on. She's backed up by the bishop. If you could move the knight to a different spot in the first move and bait them into taking it, you would have an easier mate in 2. Just a thought.

I know why you’re here. I know what you’ve been doing… why you hardly sleep, why you live alone, and why night after night, you sit by your computer. You’re looking for him. I know because I was once looking for the same thing. And when he found me, he told me I wasn’t really looking for him. I was looking for an answer. It’s the question that drives us. It’s the question that brought you here. You know the question, just as I did.
