Drag the pieces to solve!

First.

Had to sit up all night drinking beer to do so, but I made it.

After twenty something odd beers, it was a little like trying to solve one of Aesop's fables when I was six.

So . . . I heard there would be an execution in this thread?

. . . waiting

Yes,the king got executed,didn't it?

realy nice one
hehehe got it the first try..:)
guessed through that whole thing, and would never have figured this out in an actual game, but ther were only so many moves that didn't blow up his hornets nest of rooks and queen so it took me 2 min :)

The weakest black position is h7. White rook is exactly placed, as well as the white Queen. Sacrificing the rook is decisive and black is forced to take it(If 1.black king  ignores...Qh4!! is absolute disaster.)Next is to trade white bishop, black colored bishop is the key so that the f-pawn can penetrate and black resigns.

Good game!
Knowing this is a puzzle, one instinctively starts with the thought of R sacrifice and then everything falls in as a routine
Win more complicated than it needed to be.

Qh6...

Qh7...

Or am I missing something?

That was really easy after first move.
Useful pawn,good game.

Very true...but what can we do so to actually play this in a game?

I couldnt do this without seeing some of the solutions. I never would have seen it in 'real life'
