I'm an on again Off again chess player. I'm self-taught which can be dangerous. I revived my playing in school during the Fischer v Spassky Matches. Then I received a chess computer which taught me a lot in addition to some basic book knowledge. I played a bunch then had to put it down while raising a family. As I aged I played on and off especially when I was sick and or recovering from surgeries. Now I'm semi-retired and I would like to continue once again to keep my mind sharp.
