I play chess primarily for fun and have found that I perform best with fewer than 20 open games, with 10 or less being ideal. Once, I tried playing over 80 games at once, but that was too much for me.

To sharpen my skills, I'm working through Richard Palliser's book of 1200 chess puzzles. I've completed the first 100 puzzles (as of March 2022), took a break, but resumed in May 2023. By August 2023, I had finished the first 100 puzzles again, and my next goal is to reach 500.
