The Hoplites

The Hoplites were the soldiers of Ancient Greece and they dominated the battleground until the invention of the Roman Legion. 

We are a group of very active chess players who wish to dominate our battlefield as the Hoplites did theirs. Above all else, we value loyalty to the team. And those who remain loyal and distinguish themselves in our battles shall be promoted within our ranks. 

Note: Please only request to join if you are willing to be very active within our matches. Activity is mandatory and those who do not participate will be removed. Please also note that our Spy system is actively engaged in monitoring new requests and if you are declined it is because you do not fit the requirements necessary for initiation as a Hoplite.
