On the start date it will be the 85th anniversary of the birth of Diahan Carroll, who achieved global fame and success as a singer and actress. Born in The Bronx and raised in Harlem, she went to the New York School of Music and Art, at one time working at Macy's to pay her way. As well as film and TV, she later starred on Broadway and in Las Vegas. In later life she appeared in Dynasty and The Colbys, living at that time in LA. We believe a match should be held in her honour and to celebrate her birthday and hope you will accept.
