Hello there, I'm Caleb, I started playing chess in the beginning of all this covid annoyance in 2020. My inspiration to start playing chess was a random reccomended video in my youtube section. The game was against Morphy and Anderssen and I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. So I started looking for chess videos more often then I came across this website. And I just winged my first game and got scholar matedtear.png. At that moment I genuinely just wanted to stop but then I realized that I'm not learning anything just by randomly playing games. So I looked up on youtube on free chess lessons. There I found this guy named Robert Ramirez who is a National Master and his videos pretty much taught me everything I need to know for the basics of chess. This doesn't make me a professional of any means it just means I know the basics. So I started learning different strategies and looking at different chess games online and started learning openings from books. And well I've managed to get to almost 1700 in rapid in almost 2 years. personally as someone who can't focus on 1 thing at a time cause his mind is always racing I consider this the biggest achievement and I felt happier then when I was playing (american)football and I smashed this guy so hard he was seeing stars. In my time I've played chess I've saved some games that I've played that I thought were my best games. The best game I've won was an unrated game and I was coming back home from the book store and it was a 2200. I tell you what I about crapped myself. I was so focused that my mom was genuinely worried about my mental health and in the end of that game I ended up winning. I will post that game here along with my other games. I wish you all luck on not tilting like I do on this game I love and hate so dearly kinda like a married couple for 20 years. They are probably sick of each oher but arent complete without each other. Alright Imma stop writing now because my hand hurts and its 11:30 AM here and I look like I smoked 3 blunts and choked up on pain killers like a dad whose watching the playoffs.
