Current Member of USCF (Class "A" - Expert Rating 1892) with over 25 years of experience in chess. Current a member of the Black-Knight's Chess team in the Wash. DC Chess League (Board's 3-4) and a member of the Arlington Chess Club. Associate of the Maryland Chess Association through the C & O Family Chess club. As a Private Chess Trainer: Has trained and mentored several experts and has taught in small after school chess programs. I provide challenging and fun instruction to individuals and groups in schools, libraries and other locations, by E-mail and on-line. I am also the principal developer and author of an ongoing Hyper-modern Chessbook which encompasses my life-long studies into my favorite Opening Repetoire, the Ultra-Modern Defense.
