1) Happy is the man who did not walk in the advice of the wicked, and did not stand in the path of sinners, and did not sit in the congregation of the frivolous. (2) His attraction is only to the Torah of the Lord, and he studies His Torah day and night. (3) And he will be like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and whose leaf does not wither; and whatever he does, he will succeed. (4) The wicked are not like that, but they are like chaff that the wind blows about. (5) Therefore the wicked will not stand in judgment, nor sinners in the community of the righteous, (6) For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
