Amatuer- I play half hazardly without strategy. Because I think chess is very entertaining, and fun! I want to be a chess master- to grow from the type of player I am to using very intricate a preordained startegies.. Chess is a cerebral stimulation for me...resembling an ancient battlefield in which ancient strategies were used for centuries. There are players that play for fun, (which I do) and there are players that acknowledge that chess is an ancient battle ground and treat each piece as their army with specific duties to preform for the integrity of the war. I strive to be the latter.
