What do you want to know?

Well, I joined chess.com two years ago, playing regularly for a while and then taking breaks, so it’s been a bit of an on-and-off relationship 😂.

This is my first proper go at chess, having only played a few times when I was younger, and I have a love-hate thing going on with it. On one hand, I love how complex and fascinating the game is, but on the other, it can be pretty frustrating! One thing's for sure, chess is addictive! It even helped me get through a tough time in my life by giving me a distraction. Since then, I haven’t been able to stop!

I refuse to study openings and notations to wonder then why my rating doesn’t go up. My playing style? Let’s just say it’s a mix of predictable, sometimes inattentive moves with noticeable blunders and a knack for missing tactics. I can play a few decent games, but then my attention takes a nosedive, and so does my play.

A few months ago, I played on a real board for the first time and even joined my first unofficial tournament, where I managed to blunder in a game that had mate in 2 and lost my queen. Typical me, right? But hey, I’m here for the fun and the journey!
