You are playing bughouse on a level around 1500 and want to get a rating high of 1950 in 6 weeks?

1. In the book "Bughouse Chess" by Georg von Zimmermann (with many strong co-authors): Study every chapter on strategy until you know its main ideas by heart. Solve the puzzles, too.
2. Get a helpful coach who plays well above your strength. Mine is JarlCarlander. You should read his blogs for beginners, too: https://www.chess.com/member/jarlcarlander
3. Search for your mistakes after each game. If you are not sure where they are, ask your coach.
4. Watch strong bughouse streamers such as Helmsknight and my coach. Pay attention to interaction, openings and general advice. If a game finishes, find the mate or another reason.
