Before 2015 I spent most of my time playing on Buho21 with the nickname termini. Those were the best days. The site was made for Spanish speakers, but the community, the admins, the events, the tournaments, and even the trash talk created an atmosphere that will never be replicated. I remember playing with my friends after dinner during school days, and nonstop during summer and holidays.

When Buho21 faded, I opened my chess.com account. Later I created my first Lichess account,

I started playing more seriously on chess.com in 2018, and even more in 2019. Since my account was public, I avoided playing my usual openings, and that helped me to improve a lot. I began trying openings I did not know, reaching completely new positions. It felt like a new world of chess had opened for me. I realized it was not necessary to play the same opening again and again.

In 2020, during the pandemic, I created my public Lichess account, https://lichess.org/@/jonaspradolobo. The next five years I got a lot of students thanks to it, and I am very grateful for that experience.

After that, I mostly played on anonymous Lichess accounts. I often closed them and opened new ones, because I was worried that my preparation might be seen if any account was leaked.

Nowadays, I mostly play on chess.com on another account. I enjoy it more now, because most of the players are public, and some are very strong, which is great. On Lichess, almost everyone is anonymous, so for the moment chess.com is my favorite place to play.

I have not tried to push my rating in this account, but maybe in the future I will try.
