 About Me

Hi my name is Hakeem Yunusmetov and I am 20 years old and I have been playing chess for nearly 10 years. I am a Professional Chess player, Chess Commentator, Chess Streamer and a Chess Coach. Over my years of chess I have had a lot of exciting adventures in exploring with these roles and collab with people who I could never imagine would happen in my lifetime.

Playing Experience

I have a broad range of experience thanks to the numerous games I've played both IRL and online against competitive opponents. I usually play way more Rapid games and use them as a practice in order to prepare for a major rating increase in my classical tournament. 

My Specialties

I can play strategically and from a positional standpoint in chess, as well as in intricate tactical circumstances. I have a unique teaching method that enables students to have a logical thinking and helping them stay away from trouble.

My Experience Coaching 

In person and online, I have had good teaching experiences. The principles and concepts that underpin the game are explained in my own unique style. My Specialty is from the rating of 1800 and below.

Teaching Methodology

The key to success, in my opinion, is game analysis. I go through my students' games to identify and fix their errors.  By working through specialized activities on a particular subject, I am able to improve a student's thought process. I also tend to use real life situations in a chess game that tends to help my students realize that chess always relates with what we do in life.
