I learned to play chess in the third grade, and played very often until I was about 20. Life took over, and I stopped playing until a few years ago. I am trying to improve and understand this wonderful and challenging game. My USCF rating when I quit playing was in the mid 1300s, but I did have a high rating of 1600. I hope through more playing and study I can reach that level again. I welcome all challengers and would love to analyze our games together to help us both improve.
