Before moving to Florida, I was a proud member of the Newtown Chess Club in the early 80's when it was located at Trinity Church, top of the hill. I've been out of active play for many years due the usual work/family commitments, but now getting back in again, full steam. And glad to have reconnected with NCC - one of the best clubs anywhere.
