I began playing chess in 2001, when I attended a school event. There was a member of the varsity chess team giving a simultaneous exhibition against 10 players. I took my seat and was swiftly handled with ruthless aggression.

Chess has brought me travels, friendships, life skills, and knowledge. It is the superior game on Earth, thanks to its endless possibilities, abyssal realms of theory and creativity, and is available to everyone everywhere.

I should write a book about my experiences.

1. e4 for White, which allows me to travel a great portion of the chess openings.

1... Nf6 for Black, which allows me to explore a surprisingly wide array of openings as well.

I don't care what my opponent plays. I have made it my duty to prove 1... Nf6 in tournament play, and have a surprisingly strong record with it. I often find that I am more likely to win with Black, as I tend to squander my opening advantage with White.

With white I play like a prospector - making bets on beautiful plots of land.

With black I play like a thief - you may expect my first move, but I am out for plunder!
