Sicilian game

The Sicilian Defence is a chess opening that begins with the following moves: 1. e4 c5 The Sicilian is the most popular and best-scoring response to White's first move 1.e4. Opening 1.d4 is a statistically more successful opening for White because of the high success rate of the Sicilian defence against 1.e4.

Sicilian Defense is so popular and effective opening because it gives Black a comfortable position to defend the King's territory while providing scope to counter-attack the opponent. The opening also creates a position that denies White the advantage that it usually gains as it starts the match.

The Sicilian Defense allows Black to attack the d4 square and fight for the center without the symmetry that results from 1... e5. This generally leads to unbalanced positions and usually leaves black with a central pawn majority after trading his c-pawn for White's d-pawn.

The idea behind the Sicilian Defense is: White has played e4 at the first move, trying to fight for centre since the very beginning of this open game. Black responds by moving the c-pawn, also controlling the important central d4-square and creating an asymmetrical position.

ECO: B20 - B99

Origin: Giulio Cesare Polerio, 1594

The Open Sicilian Defense is divided into four major variations based on Black’s response, although there are many other less-played options to be explored.

  • The Najdorf variation
  • The Dragon variation
  • The Classical variation
  • The Scheveningen variation

Open Sicilian is one of my favorite to play against it. I will try to give and show you my experience with Sicilian, playing as White. I m always excited when I m facing against 1...c5

Now, lets get into journey with me.

(for more deeper analyse you can tip me private, I m only here posting without too much explanation, but still I m getting hard job to cover only the best you need. Join in my Club - WolfMind.)

Sicilian Defense: Open, Scheveningen, Sozin, Flank Variation, 8.O-O

Meanwhile,  I will do only my games and my learning from some "bad" coaches and science. (bad mean spicy as hell)

1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 a6 6.Bc4 e6 7. O-O b5 8.Bb3 Bb7

all of my moves up to 8th are theory moves

After this postion I was thinking about 1 min 50 seconds. Reason for that is asking myself: Do I need to wait and playing quite or should to attack like I m learning from book (one secret)? If I dont have dilemma attack is something what I would do always in this pattern on board. (I will also show later one variation with similar patter where I have brilliant move in attack in early moving. After that you can, maybe, get into that secret like I reached from one old book.)

This game was between player (2273) and me.

He attacking my pawn in center twice and I can defend it with Rook, but....

That but is not question it is decision. - as important in life decisions

What I do?

9. Bxe6? fxe6 10. Nxe6

(attacking the Queen, he can not take pawn with Bishop)

10...Qd7 11. Nd5! Bxd5??

(after this game is losted and White wins)

Stay tuned and add me. I m working up on too many Openings and new ways that are not discovered well.
