lol, I spent ages trying to figure out how to open the b1-h7 diagonal, before realizing the white queen is simply trapped.

Surely the substitution sac RXe4 wins the game? But no, go for trapping the queen.

How does this win? White can just play Qxg6 instead of succumbing to fxe4??, and he wins a bishop for a pawn.

solved it after 2:08 lost 5 points, bummer. feels better than getting it wrong though.

63 seconds for plus 6 points.

Looked at a lot of fancy stuff first, before finally realizing that there's a thing where that Queen has nowhere to go. If I'd taken a minute longer, then it would have been minus 5 points, as someone experienced.  But I agree, better to get it right, and get the minus, than rushing and getting it wrong, for which TT will take even more points off ya.  Of course, I sometimes take a lot of time, and still get it wrong.  Have had minus 10 points on occasion.

Spent a full minute on this one exploring ideas of opening the b1-h7 diagonal. Once I exhausted all of that, I saw the Queen could be trapped.

No, it isn't. How about reading the other comments and the analysis lines before commenting?

Rxe4 not only loses material, it puts black's whole position in serious jeopardy. After losing his bishop, black ends up having to save his hanging rook by pathetically putting it right back where it started on e6. If he doesn't, white has three pieces pointed right at the d6-pawn and will smash through against a naked king.
