I learned to play chess since I was 4 years old, throughout my career I have participated in national and international competitions. I have been a national school medalist (2013), a Central American team champion (Costa Rica 2013). Bronze medalist at the Pan American Games (T&T 2013). I reached the FM title at the age of 17 and have participated in the main national tournaments with relevant results. I am an active player with 20 years of experience, my FIDE profile is: ratings.fide.com/profile/3516334.

Despite being young, I have more than 6 years of experience as a coach at all levels. I have been my own coach since I was 14 years old and understand the importance of a coach who guides, motivates and understands students. Some of my students have won medals in provincial championships.

I grant vital importance to the understanding of the basic strategic fundamentals, the detailed analysis of the games and the development of tactical skills, pattern recognition and calculation of variations. Always combining theoretical study with practice.
