I have been playing chess for a year now and I find the game to be exhilarating. I was taught by one of my friends and then took off from there. I was chess captain for my senior year and I took 1st in a rivalry chess competition against another school. I love chess because I'm a person that has a additive personality and when I start something I always strive to be the best at what I do. In chess there is always room for improvement.
