I started playing chess against my brother at the age of 7.  The next 7-8 years I never beat him.  After the first time I beat him, he never played me again and I was reduced to playing against chess computers for the next 10 years until moving to Germany.  Since here, I have begun playing human opponents again as well as discovering chess.com.
