SSGLinus

I am in my mid-50's. I have been playing chess (badly, for the most part) since I was about 6 years old.

I retired from the US military in 2012, at the rank of Staff Sergeant (the Army abbreviation for that rank is "SSG"). From 1996-2002, I was very active in community and semi-pro theater. One of my best known roles was in the show: "The World According to Snoopy". My wife played the character "Lucy", and I played "Linus". ... Hence, my username.
