Hi there! I'm Najelle S. Sarvida, A young chess enthusiast residing in the beautiful archipelago of Philippines. I started chess after finishing 7th grade (at 14 years old exactly). I do feel upset knowing how some children start chess at a very young age. However, I do know Chess is not all on the age, but on the experience, will and wit. Chess has changed my perspective in life. Most people see chess as a board game, but to me, I see chess as how I see life. How?, because I see life like a game of chess.

1. Every move in our lives must has a purpose.

2. We can never avoid mistakes, everyone makes mistakes.

3. There are sacrifices that have to be done in order to succeed.

4. We need to think wisely before making a move in life.

5. We must not fall for temptations and traps in life.

Chess is more than just a game. It involves logic, understanding, art, risk and beauty.
