I have been playing chess my entire life. I started going to tournaments when I was 6 and became a European Champion when I was 10.
After I graduated, I worked for about 6 years in a multinational company, playing chess only on holidays. But after 6 years I decided to dedicated myself to teaching and playing fully and that's what I have been doing until today. Occasionally I have also done live commentary, for events like the FIDE Grand Prix and European Championships.
However, teaching remains my main occupation. I enjoy helping and insipring others to become better chess players and I hope to help you discover the beauty of chess as well.

Although teaching takes up almost all my time, I am still and active player. I think playing and facing practical problems is what helps understand my students better and the problems they face in a game better as well. I am also writing chess articles, which you can find on www.thechessworld.com .

My lessons are customized, depending on the student's strength and needs. I will go over your games and understand which parts of your game you need to work on and will include this in our trainings.
In the past few years I have specialized in training students under 1500 rating. I will help you build strong fundamentals that will improve your level. 
My lessons focus mainly on developing your chess understanding. We will work on fundamentals, in all phases of the game. I will help you understand how to think during a game and what to focus on in order to make better moves.
