Wrexham Chess Club. Memorial Hall (off High Street), Gresford, Wrexham. LL12 8PS. The club meets on Tuesdays at 7pm at the New Memorial Hall in the village of Gresford about three miles north of Wrexham town centre. The New Memorial Hall is a modern building on a single level with its own free car park. Our clubroom (the Blue Room) is quiet with an excellent standard of lighting and heating. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available at a small charge. As a long established Chess Club we naturally provide facilities for the serious player. However, we are equally keen to provide opportunities for social play for those who like chess but for whom chess may not be an all-consuming interest! We have a comprehensive Information Pack that provides full details of the club's facilities, activities and subscription including travel directions to our venue.
