Id just like to add to the helpful references here, there are some outstanding websites on just chess openings, and walk you thru all the variations of these select openings, just google chess openings and 2 that come to mind are chessposter and eudesign, are remarkably well laid out and eudesign explains the purpose behind each move made, so you can grasp the flow and logic behind each move in each opening........i want to add, that this site, to me, chess.com is simply a chess players dream come true, for someone like me, putting me in the midst of so many sincere and genuinely fine men and women, whether players or staff! thank you!!
