This is the first of a series of articles from my new eBook, available for Nook and other eBook readers from Barnes & Noble. The 15 official World Champions show how to follow the opening guidelines and then launch a quick attack to destroy their opponents, even when there is another World Champion on the other side of the board. You will sere how important it is to mobilize rooks before starting the attack.

In our second example we see Capablanca destroy the same opening, played a  bit better by his opponent.

Turns out that the queen sack was a blunder on Rybka analysis... if Souza played d5 rather than Rf7 then he would have a significant advantage over Capa.

Q sac. Capa must have calculated 10 moves ahead on every move. Awesome.

It s not Capablanca playing like Alekhine it is Capablanca the GREAT .

Mind you Alekhine is one of my favourites.

one does not normally think 'queen sac' and Capablanca in the same sentence.  He looked more like Nehmizdinov(sp) there.  That was a damn fine attack and obviously a well calculated one.  I can only imagine the look on Campo's facewhen Capa sac'd the queen, lol.
