Chess Boxing Charity Gala

Newcastle University Chess Society with support from Newcastle University and AB Connexions are hosting a charity chess boxing gala and a live auction on Saturday 27th April 2013 at Newcastle Civic Centre. Tickets for the event are available at http://newcastlecityhall.org/event/chess-boxing-charity-gala/ and we are allowing companies to buy tables for the event. This is the first time an event of this nature has occured outside of the capital city of London. Attached is more information for the event. The society are hoping to raise £10,000 for the charities that we are supporting. Grandmaster Stephen Gordon will be hosting the event. 

We will also have a live auction on the night and throughout the month and our headline auction item is:

A 3 day charter for up to 12 people, on board the luxury 86ft motor yacht ‘Lady Tatiana of London’ to be taken between 2^nd October 2013 to 30^th May 2014 (including Christmas, Valentines and Easter). The yacht is a charter yacht with 3 professional crew members.

A chance to go to Hollywood, LA to audition in front of 25-30 agents and casting directors in either October 2013, March 2014 or July 2014.
