I'm the King's Indian Slayer!  Classical, Gligoric, Saemisch, Fianchetto are all wins for White.  Four Pawns is a Draw.  The rest lose.

1791 online rating here, but you are the King's Indian slayer, huh ?

Yet you believe a move is excellent or weak because you just say so, and without any shown variant or plan.

He's a mere 2100 over the board and thinks he understands chess.

schlechter55

my posts show that I do.

The posts of thriller show that he does not.

My FIDE rating is 2240.

Expertise87

schlechter, if you understood chess you would be much higher than 2240...although for the most part your posts are useful, except when you're trying to defend yourself from perceived or real attacks.

The problem about the rating here is: I joined this website only few monthes ago. How could I possibly better than I am ? Games take time.

About my rating in OTB chess: I am a scientist, doing research takes time, which I do not have for playing regularly and stable , and for a necessary update of openings. I am still benefitting a little from my experience in correspondence chess which I made years ago, before the time of computers.

Having a low rating and understanding chess are two different things.

I shouldnt have belittled the rating of Thriller, too, you are right.

Although his posts (and of others here) were full of claims, and had very little reasoning.

Great, another flame war.

Even though I don't play 1. d4, I am pretty sure most 1. d4 players agree that they will have more troubles playing against 1...d5, than King's Indian(1...Nf6 2...g6).

Darkrai88

Nimzo is the best of the queen pawn openings.

I have to agree. There are many ways to refute 1.d4 . I am having alot harder time refuting 1.e4 .

D_for_DJ

Here is another 1.d4 SMASHED!!!

[Black "D_for_DJ"]

[Result "0-1"]

D_for_DJ is obviously trolling. I just played nhdimitrov too and proved that the Caro-Kann is unsound apparently.

InfiniteFlash

beknownee is amazig dfense, it tofer vey gud attak, repoots d4 open

ekorbdal

Nothing wrong with d4. People have played it for years!

D_for_DJ

1.D4 is refuted!

bladezii

Effective immediately --  I will not play 1.d4 ever.   Thank you for the post.

schlechter55

I challenge D_for_DJ to a game , where I have White and we play 1.d4 c5, 2.d5 g6, 3.c4 Bg7, 4.Nc3 Bxc3+, 5.bxc3 f5.

You are all invited to watch.
