I agree with you, trying this stuff is not a good idea, you will just get worse positions and end up using more time anyway. Most experienced bullet players won't premove in the opening.
Also, if someone resigns immediately after playing something like Bh6 when I play Bxh6, they will never play against me again, and I bet most players will do the same, blocking the player that resigns.
You can try the cheap shots, but when they don't work, you have to "pay the price" :)
