This is my favourite system for Black against 1.e4, following Daniel Lowinger's book, which is itself one of the most straightforward openings books I have read. Black plans ..b5 and ...c5, developing the bishops to b7 and e7 and the other knight to d7. I've played this a lot on chess.com and never had a bad position from the opening yet.
