I was wondering how close do the ratings on chess.com(correspondence) corelate with the ratings of players...???

If i have 1600 rating here on chess.com(correspondence)...am i a player of the same calibre or are these ratings more...???

If you're talking about chess.com ratings versus OTB (over the board) ratings, the difference varies between 200 and 300 ratings points. Even facing a player with the same rating here on chess.com doesn't guarantee your opponent is of the same strength. A player's ratings can jump up due to opponent resignations and games lost on time.

I think the live game rating might be closely related to otb rating than the correspondence rating.

why do you lose points for a draw? what determines how many points you get when you win? what determines how many points you lose when you lose?
