my name is Valerio and I recently joined Chess.com, in hope to vastly improve my skills. I used to play quite often when I was a teenager and then - for some unknown reason - I stopped playing.
A few months ago a work colleagues asked if I wanted to play with him. I soon realised that I was really rusty, by which I mean I never won a game against him... I've been playing a large number of tactics on other websites, but I reached a point where my score doesn't improve anymore.
I joined here as a Gold Member and I already attemepted some of the tactics (about 50%-50% solved and failed), as well as I played a few live games, but so far I've only lost... I'm wondering If I should find another hobby now!
I definitely want to improve and it would be nice if you could suggest the best path to get better at playing this fantastic game.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and I hope to play with many of you in the near future!

It will come back. You just started. Losing 4 games is nothing. You lost all 4 games on time. You were winning your last game.
Perhaps a slower time control would help.
75 tactics is nothing. You should do 750 to refresh your eye. The Chess Mentor courses are very good. You don't have to start with the beginner courses.
Above all, keep playing until you start winning.
One thing I noticed is that I'm slow in figuring out my next move!
