An example of mine where doubled isolated pawns are good.

I haven't engine checked this position so likely i made a mistake somewhere, but I believe Bf4!? is a good move. Black simply lacks moves after he can't break c5 nor e5.

Can someone post analysis of the game, or just the evaluation and anaylsis behind the Bf4 move.

It's tihere, click on the PGN button :)

I'm not good enough to give you my own thoughts, but Stockfish has been looking at that position for a bit now, and Bf4 is 5th choice (0.00)

It prefers Bd2 and c5 (both around 0.65) followed by Be3 and Bc1, @0.44

I don't think White is so well after Bf4. Black just needs to throw in ...Rb8, ...c5 and ...b6 and he has solved his development problems ; I doubt White can do much in the meanwhile.

19...Nc8 ? is probably the fate-sealing blunder - instead, ...Rad8 and it's still a game, though the LSB problem has not been solved.

It is difficult, interresting, and strong.
