A move that is actually bad but that initially seems like a move that is actually good but initially seems like a move that is actually bad but initially seems like a move that is actually good but initially seems like a move that is actually bad but that initially seems like a move that is actually good but initially seems like a move that is actually bad but that initially seems like a move that is actually good but initially seems like a move that is actually bad but that initially seems like a move that is actually good but initially seems bad.
Or something like that. It is the logical extension of the rarely used symbols !?! and ?!?. For example, the king's pawn opening is 1. e4?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?

Let me try- he was merely asking why (?) the era of swashbuckling chess (!?) was so exciting (!) yet it depended on speculative moves (?!) and sometimes blunders (?) being answered so spectacularly (!) or sometimes equally speculatively (?!) and leading to questions (?) about whether players like Morphy (!) would be able to compete with more recent chess geniuses like the enigmatic (?!?!?!?!?!?!?) Fischer.
That should clear this up(!) Hope this helps(!) If you have any other questions (?) there are 3 more sets to go...
That was exactly my interpretation too.

those were fun, trigs
more, please
you asked for it, you got it!
here`s a great game between Steinitz and Chigorin. this is from their second match against each other. in there first meeting in 1889 they managed only one draw in 17 games, so in this meeting in 1892 everyone was expecting a bloody affair. In the end, Steintz rips open the center and sacs a rook to find a beautiful mate.
Here`s another one which is considered possibly the most famous minature ever. Reti sacrifices his queen for a beautiful ending vs. Tartakower.

I was going through some of the famous games on my database and there were a few that I found quite entertaining. Therefore, I thought I'd share them with everyone.
The first one here is Paulsen vs. Morphy. This is from the only tournament Morphy played in - the 1st American Chess Congress in 1857. Morphy eventually defeated Paulsen with a score of +5, =2, -1.
The next is a great minature between Zukertort and Anderssen. Anderssen had won the first three games, but this crushing game shifted the tide in the match. Zukertort would go on to win the next five games.
This final game is between Chigorin and Zukertort. This first round match up features a great King hunt in the end. Zukertort ultimately won the tournament with a 22-4 record with Chigorin finishing fourth.
That's it. Hope you all enjoyed the wonderful games.
