Just recently, I came across what has been referred to in several sources as the greatest game ever played: Kasparov v. Topalov, 1999. It is a most complex game. At least one commentator said that he studied this game for over six months! I understand that Soltis considers this the the 5th best game ever played.
For me, this is the most entertaining game that I have ever reviewed to date. It gets really interesting and hold one's interest after move 19! This game is presented below for your enjoyment!
