0n your 12th move, was there not a better position for your knight to move back to or you can eat the pawn but that has be nonsense.. & that person could have put bishop when you moved your bishop.. wow & why is the opponent moving back and while you are attacking the position.. not bad.. C; wow very well, well played!!! =-D

(near the end, you had the game but very good..nice sacarfice hehe) #revenge

Yes, you're right! After move 12, the computer suggests Nh3. See, the reason I decided to sacrifice it there instead though was because the black pieces were attacking d3 three times and without my knight to help, I was only defending it twice.

I saw the opportunity to win the tempo on the queen with the light square bishop with the idea that pressuring the knight there on the open c file would allow the threat of my rook on the a file to coordinate with the bishop against his king with plenty of play for my queen to jump in if needed.

But then after the fork, I saw what before I was only sensing. The opportunity to sacrifice the queen for wide open files for my rooks working with my bishops against black's severely weak back rank.

And the rest, as they say, is now history. Smile

Very nice finish! But I think Black might have been singing a much happier tune after 11...exd4. And 14...Be4 would have been very strong too

Those are strong moves. Thank you for suggesting those. It was fun to "play against" them and I definitely agree the fat lady would have to postpone her tune a few more moves in that case.

Beautiful finish, yet I think that black is clearly better after 11... e5. I expect him to be much better after 7... Nc6 8.Nf3 Bg4, hence 7... Nc6 8.Be3 and maybe Bf5.

I can't be correct to try to hold the pawn after 3.exd5. I would play 3.d4 Nxd5 4.c4 and have a lot of space in the center.

Thank you for the great ideas.
