Bullet Bastards

I just don't understand the play and bail option.

I click rematch but 90% of the time the player is already gone before I can even click it. Players just don't seem to accept a rematch that much in Bullet.

I'm new to this mentality so it just strikes me as odd.

I know that chess.com won't punish or take points away, just seems like the ethics of Bullet are unlike anything I have encountered in chess before.

- Turn the chat off.

- Find regular opponents who you know will rematch you.

- Don't be needy. People will always run off, get over it.

Mr_Tarkanian

Bullet bastards??  Are you claiming that your opponents parents were also not wed?  That's another issue in itself.  :(

wjcsz

It is your opponent's right to choose rematch or refuse rematch, rematch with you is not your opponent's duty.Am I right?

If you want rematch , you can play computer players such as computer3-hard and computer4-impossible,you can rematch as much as possible.

macer75

lol not this again...

New_Member24

You actually want Chess.com to take points away from people for not rematching you? What're you? Eight?

"Mooooooom! Timmy won't play with me and called me names!! Tell his mom so he gets his stuff taken away!"

Serious: Turn off chat and learn to hit the rematch button.

Always going into circles. So much for Bullets.

I do it all the time (in blitz though, not bullet). My reasons being:

1. I found no learning value or enjoyment playing you and wanted a new opponent.

2. I legitimately only had time for one game (or you were the last person I had time for).

3. I like to play in bursts not marathons. Maybe you like to spam the rematch/new game button but I sure don't, and I'm sure other people share that sentiment.

Thanks for the input, I'll adjust my settings and play accordingly.

G2em3, out of curiousity.....are your parents married?

If it helps, just remember Bullet has nothing to do with chess it is simply a matter of who can move the fastest You can suck at chess and still have a decent bullet rating because you can move faster then the other guy Bullet is just a waste of time

FireAndLightz

You can be fast but if you cant play chess u will not survive 1 min at bullet. So saying that you can play bullet even when u suck at chess is in my opinion not right. But yes bullet is 50% time.

I guess my Forum Title choice of words was a bit terse. I apologize. I'm not trying to make fun of the John Snow's of the world. I can't edit my title but using the term Bastards was a little harsh in retrospect. Bullet Ethics?"" might have been a better option. And to your second question my Parents are still happily married Mr Tark...

No apology needed.  Sometimes a person needs a title that is an eye catcher or that conveys the emotion of what happened....And good to see that the folks are still married.  Unbelievably, mine are still, too.  :)

yeah, chess .com should punish. Your rating should be taken by 10%. How do you like that? Sounds good to me.

Prove it.  Increase your rating a few hundred points by premoving more.

You're right it's a variant, but it's not about hand eye coordination as much as it's about pattern recognition, mostly tactical patterns.  What the lesser bullet player stops to calculate the better bullet player recognizes without calculating at all.

I've had loads of wins by checkmate in bullet
