ofc if someone comes that it years above others in knowledge he probably would look weird too.

seriously i personally believe those people who say authism are just folks who are jealous and thats why they have to invent stuff to comprehend the incomprehendible.

dont we have all those nice inventions for people that are superior??

one with a cool car has only a small one, other people who had success were just lucky.

other people are just good in one thing but in not others...

which is weird considering how many languages some top players speak and how well they can talk and convey others.

ITs just hilarious!! I personally if i wouldnt see it with my own eyes i would think those people who say autism dont even play chess and are just random folks that like to talk about stuff they have absolutly no clue about... well obvious most people are higher rated than me, but still thats would be what i believe

and as jon mentioned, its remarkable how formidable some chessplayers are in poker

I scored 36, possibly 37 (as I was conflicted on one question).

This was interesting to me as I was "observed" in my home at the request of my schoolas a child due to possible suspicion of Aspergers, but I was never diagnosed.

I have an AQ of 45 and I don't think I have severe autism. Maybe just Asbergers syndrome.

Another reason why I think this is because my IQ is 170+. People with severe autism tend to have below average IQs. But people with aspergers have high or normal IQs

I thought it was a common misconception that a large amount of people who are on the autism spectrum also are basically rain man?

The idea is that the brain's social capacity is diminished, but it compensates by overdeveloping the analytical partz right?

If you think about it, that's what a lot of high level chess players are though.

Yeah that is true aspergians tend to have great analytical skills leading to high IQ but low social skills
